We did it! Jose Peralta is the newest New York State Senator!

Planned Parenthood of New York City Action Fund applauds the election of Jose Peralta to the 13th State Senate District

Capturing 65% of the vote in an incredibly high turn out special election where 15,000 residents of the 13th Senate District (Corona, Elhmhurst, East Elmhurst, Lefrak City, Woodside and Jackson Heights) voted to elect PPNYC Action Fund endorsed 100% pro-choice candidate Jose Peralta.

"During his tenure in the State Assembly, Peralta consistently advocated for the health and well-being of the women of New York. We rely on lawmakers like Senator Peralta that will take the votes that will maintain New York's pro-choice, pro-family planning policies and funding.
