 The Planned Parenthood of New York City Action Fund (Action Fund) is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization formed as the political arm of Planned Parenthood of New York City. The Action Fund engages in legislative education and electoral activity, including voter education campaigns, grassroots organizing, issue advocacy, candidate forums, get-out-the-vote activities, voter registration, and earned and paid media campaigns. The Action Fund encourages public and political support for reproductive health and rights. We also analyze and report on the positions of candidates for public office on issues of importance to the pro-choice community. Planned Parenthood of New York City ("PPNYC") is the largest and most trusted reproductive health care organization in New York City. The mission of PPNYC: "To empower individuals to make independent, informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive lives, we provide information and health care, and promote public policies that make those services available to all." The Action Fund is also affiliated with the Planned Parenthood Advocates of New York, a statewide 501(C)(4) organization that represents all of the Planned Parenthood affiliates in New York State.
